You may take the Providence Hospital childbirth classes or other childbirth preparation classes (such as Lamaze, Bradley and Hypnobirthing) taught in your doctor’s office or in the community. It is imperative that the mother and partner of her choice complete the required classes. Refresher childbirth preparation classes are recommended for returning families.

"Our time at the ABC was nothing short of excellent! The nurses were terrific - we could not have asked for a more nurturing, positive experience. We had been considering hiring a doula, but I can honestly say that the support we received from the staff was second-to-none, and we wouldn't have needed one anyway. I am confident that we made the best possible choice for bringing little Emmett into the world. Thank you ladies - we wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Much love to you all!"
